There's an insurance company here in the Seattle area that has, since I was a child aired some of the weirdest commercials ever seen on TV. I remember moving here when I was eleven and hating the first few that I saw. "Vern Fonk? Who the fuck is this guy?"
But Vern Fonk fought a battle of attrition and eventually won me over. Some of his commercials were kind of funny. A couple of them were really funny. I'm not sure if I think that because they're genuinely funny or if I've just become broken through over exposure. In any case, I kind of love them at this point in my life.
Anyone else have any "great" local commercials in their area?

Those were absolutely wonderful. It's not local to me, but my family lives in Hamburg outside of Buffalo, NY and there's a local place called Mighty Taco that has had some of the most consistently funny commercials I've ever seen.
Not the best example, but the best I could find on youtube.
